Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist

A. Wilson Wages is one of only 145 civil trial specialists (Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization) in the State of Tennessee. He was first certified in 1995 and has been recertified each year since then.

In order to be designated as a Board Certified Civil Trial Specialist, an attorney must:

• take a rigorous examination

• obtain references from judges and other lawyers and
• try a minimum of 15 jury trial and 40 major trials.

Mr. Wages is also certified by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
